Description
Plaintiff, Lamar Wilson, appeals the Secretarys denial of his application for disability and disability insurance benefits brought pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 416(i) and 423. An administrative law judge found that the medical evidence in the record and the claimants subjective testimony did not establish Wilsons disability. This determination was upheld by the Appeals Council. On review, a United States Magistrate found that there was substantial evidence to support the Secretarys decision and Wilson had not satisfied his burden of showing "good cause" to justify a remand to the Secretary for the taking of additional evidence. These findings were adopted by the district court. We reverse. See 42 U.S.C. § 405(g).
